Plum + Apple Crumble
What you’ll need (Serves 8):
- 8-10 Granny Smith apples
- 1 bottle Queen Garnet plum nectar
- 1 cup plain flour
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 125g butter
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
How to make it:
- Preheat oven to 180°C.
- Prepare the crumble - combine the flour, oats, brown sugar, cinnamon and butter in a bowl and mix well to combine.
- Peel and core apples and dice into small chunks.
- Warm an ovenproof pan on the stove over a medium heat and add the diced apple.
- Sauté gently then add the plum nectar and allow to cook until the apple is softened and the nectar has reduced slightly.
- Arrange crumble on top of apple plum mixture and place in the oven for 20-30 minutes or until golden.
- Serve warm with vanilla bean ice cream.
