10 things you might not know about Queen Garnet Nectar
NOTES FROM OUR NUTRITIONIST1. It contains antioxidants
The nectar is made from 100% Queen Garnet plums, which is well known for containing the antioxidant known as anthocyanin. Antioxidants are an important part of a healthy diet and should be regularly included in your daily eating pattern alongside fruit and vegetables, grains, legumes, lean protein and healthy fats.

2. It contains fibre for your gut health
Plums contain insoluble fibre to help keep your digestive system humming. Nurture your digestive system by incorporating some Queen Garnet Plum Nectar in your daily meals or snacks.
3. There are 3 Queen Garnet plums per bottle
After the season of fresh plums runs out, the plums are bottled into Queen Garnet nectar for you to enjoy all year round. Each 250ml bottle of plum nectar contains the goodness of 3 Queen Garnet plums.
4. Ideally you should drink it within 2 days of opening
Make sure you refrigerate it after opening it as this ensures its nutrient content is maximised and you’re reaping all the benefits from the Queen Garnet.
"It’s ethical, allergy friendly and gut friendly too."
5. It’s vegan friendly
The only ingredient in the nectar is 100% Queen Garnet plum so it’s ethical, allergy friendly and gut friendly too. A lot of ‘healthy’ products on the market aren’t plant based or even that healthy as they have fillers and additives but you can rest assured, the QG nectar is 100% fruit only so perfect for your health!
6. No artificial colours or flavours
Again, the only ingredient in the nectar is 100% Queen Garnet plum and that beautiful rich purple colour of the nectar is from the antioxidants present in the fruit (no colours or additives in sight!).
7. No preservatives, sulphites or added sugar
As the only ingredient in the nectar is 100% Queen Garnet plum, it’s easy to think that the company must add additional things into it as it tastes SO good but rest assured, the nectar is pure and 100% natural.
8. It pairs wonderfully with low sugar tonic water
If you’re looking to reduce your alcohol consumption (which all nutritionists will recommend), try this delicious mocktail recipe. 1/3 bottle of Queen Garnet Nectar, 1-2 cups of low sugar tonic, a handful of crushed blueberries and a sprig of fresh rosemary.
9. It’s Aussie owned and made
The plum puree in the bottle is made from 100% Australian Queen Garnet plums and produced in local Queensland factories. Not only are your supporting your health with each bottle, you’re also supporting the local Australian economy.
10.The nectar is in season all year round
Sadly, the delicious fresh Queen Garnets are only in season from January to the end of April but luckily for us, the value-added products (the nectar, the probiotic chewables, the pro&prebiotic powder and the Queen Garnet powder sachets) are available on the website and selected Woolworths and Harris Farm Supermarkets all year round!
