5 days of drinking QG Nectar
NOTES FROM OUR NUTRITIONISTDay 1:
My day is crazy busy today but I made sure to squeeze in a morning walk to get in some Vitamin D. I woke up feeling pretty hungry so honoured my hunger after my walk by having Greek yoghurt with some muesli, nuts and seeds plus ½ a bottle of the Queen Garnet Plum Nectar (diluted with sparkling water) instead of my morning coffee. I felt perfectly satisfied after this and was full for hours until lunch time.

Day 2:
Started my day with a full body gym session then had another busy day of clients, interviews and content creation. Today I had a quick mid-morning smoothie using Greek yoghurt, frozen berries, chia seeds, ½ zucchini, milk and the other half a bottle of Queen Garnet Plum Nectar. Such an easy, tasty and filling smoothie that ticks all the boxes for a nourishing breakfast choice.
Day 3:
Today I had an early podcast at 5am so felt very hungry afterwards. I made eggs and veggies on fresh sourdough around 6:30am and was hungry for a snack around 9am. I read the news and wrote down my daily gratitude while sipping 1/3 of a bottle of Queen Garnet Plum Nectar diluted with some soda water. I also munched on some carrot sticks with hummus and salsa. I found the plum nectar with soda water crushed the cravings I had at the time and left me feeling satisfied until lunch time.
Day 4:
Thursdays are my creative days in the kitchen so I was so excited to whip up a snack recipe with the Queen Garnet Plum Nectar. I made some delicious plum & chia muffins (pouring ½ a cup of plum nectar into my recipe) and they went down a real treat! This was the perfect pre-workout snack which then allowed me to go and smash out a huge leg day at the gym.
Day 5:
Finally Friday! Phew, what a week! Today my focus has been on fuelling my body with whole foods as I’m excited to have a drink or two tonight with my husband and friends. On the menu, of course is my favourite Queen Garnet Plum Nectar (the other 1/3 of the bottle) with gin and a low sugar tonic. I will also add fresh rosemary and lime slices to our cocktails as well. I will be serving everyone a cocktail along with my delicious cheese platter with lots of veggie sticks, nuts, fresh fruit, grain crackers, dips and cheese.
Thoughts after 5 days:
I absolutely loved the convenience of the Queen Garnet Plum Nectar. Each bottle contains the goodness of 3 full plums so it was an easy addition to my meals, drinks and snacks. I also found it quite concentrated so never drank a full bottle which was great as 1 bottle lasted me a few days. Most days I had between ¼- ½ of the bottle. I also loved that there was only 100% Queen Garnet Plum Puree in every bottle, no other additives, preservatives or added sugars. At only 85 calories per serving (3 servings per bottle), the Queen Garnet Plum Nectar is a lower calorie alternative to soft drink with the bonus of antioxidants.

After 5 days, I must say I feel fabulous and my digestive system is humming. Plums contain insoluble fibre as well as the natural laxative sorbitol so your digestive system will thank you for using some Queen Garnet Plum Nectar in your daily meals or snacks.
